Who Is Jesus Christ According To The Bible?

May 16, 2010

The Watchtower Organization claims that Jesus Christ is nothing more than a created thing. I know, because I was a member for over 18 years. That said, is that true … is it true that Christ was only an angel created by God The Father?

In the Gospel of John, Chapter 1 verse 1, it reads: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Verse 14 tells us who the Word (God) became: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

We find in the book of John, Chapter 8 verse 58, who Jesus Christ claimed to be. It reads: “Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.'” Jesus Christ identifies who He is, and who was that? In Exodus, Chapter 3 verse 14, it becomes very clear who He was claiming to be … “And God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM’; and He said, ‘Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”‘”

According to the Bible, Jesus Christ claimed to be God (I AM) and the Jews understood exactly what He was saying, because they then attempted to stone Him for blasphemy. That can be read in John, Chapter 10 verses 30-33.

Whether or not people believe that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh does not alter the fact that He was. The Bible is very clear on this point. The question, however, that needs to be addressed is why Watchtower members accept their leadership’s (the Watchtower Organization’s) teachings … i.e., that Christ was nothing more than an angel created by God The Father?

To understand why Jehovah’s Witnesses follow Watchtower leadership over biblical scripture, one must understand the Watchtower position on who they claim to be and represent. Once that is established and the truth of the matter becomes known, one can understand why members hang on to Watchtower theology so tenaciously.

This brings us to why I wrote my book — “The Bible vs The Watchtower (The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Authority) You Decide …”  In it, you will discover why Watchtower members cling to every word they teach.  But first, read my mission statement (link below) to find out why I wrote the book.

Does God Use The Watchtower As His Instrument Of Communication To The World?

April 30, 2010

Here are a few quotes from Watchtower literature that establishes their position regarding God using them as His vehicle:

“Respond to the directions of the organization as you would the voice of God.”

“Failure to respond to the direction of the organization indicates a rejection of Divine rulership.”

“The truths I present as God’s mouthpiece.”

“The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is the greatest corporation in the world, because from the time of its organization until now the Lord has used it as His channel through which to make known the glad tidings …”

“God uses The Watchtower to communicate to his people; it does not consist of men’s opinions.”

“… come to Jehovah’s organization for salvation …”

These quotes (all of which are in my book along with their referenced material) establish the true claimed position of the Watchtower organization. There is no ambiguity here. However, that said, the question still remains: Does God use the Watchtower as His vehicle to communicate with the world?

This question needs to be answered. It is my belief that if God actually speaks through the pages of the Watchtower … the world should be notified. However, conversely, if that wasn’t actually true, that too would need world attention.

You may find the answer to that question along with many others in my book, entitled: The Bible vs The Watchtower (The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Authority) You Decide …

Jesus Christ Tells The World How He Will Return!

April 24, 2010

Jesus Himself told the disciples that His return would be so prominent and observable that everyone would immediately know it was happening. Thus, He reveals in Matthew Chapter 24 that if someone comes forward and reports that He has already returned, it will not be true:

“‘Then if anyone says to you, “Behold, here is the Christ,” or “There He is,” do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I told you in advance. If therefore they say to you, “Behold, He is in the wilderness,” do not go forth, or, “Behold, He is in the inner rooms,” do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east, and flashes even to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.’” Matthew 24:23-27 (emphasis in original).

So could the Watchtower still be correct that Jesus already returned invisibly in heaven in 1874 (or 1914)? Or does the Bible indicate differently?

Are You Addicted To Watchtower Teachings?

April 17, 2010

Short And Sweet!

One of the tools the Watchtower uses to control their members is fear.  Fear is a very powerful motivator.  It not only creates dedication to the one using this tool, but it also enables the user to manipulate and control the minds of their membership. The question is why … why the addiction and why the fear?

Learn The Cause of Watchtower Addiction … My Mission Statement To The World!

April 3, 2010

Mission Statement

The purpose of writing a book varies from one person to another. My book, however, was written for a very specific reason, but directed not only to former members of the Watchtower in an effort to help eliminate their Watchtower addiction, but to the world. That said, the question then becomes, why … why does it matter to the world what the Watchtower organization believes or teaches?

During World War ll, there were many lives taken by Hitler. I don’t mean on the battlefield; I’m referring to the trains that carried millions of innocent Jewish families to their final destination in life. I wonder … if they had been forewarned, would the history books have told a different story?

Jonestown was another sad day in which many lives were taken unnecessarily. Heaven’s Gate, too, was another cult that preyed on the innocent. If they only knew how they were being controlled.

So why does it matter to the world what the Watchtower organization believes or teaches?

I wrote my book in hopes that it’s informative but profound material would bring public awareness to their teachings (unlike those Jewish families who were not alerted to Hitler’s planned slaughter). This information is directed to both Christians and non-Christians in an attempt to bring transparency to Watchtower theology and to demonstrate how they are able to manipulate and control the minds of their members.

It is my belief that being forewarned is being forearmed. Millions of lives are in the balance. You will judge my life’s work, hence the title: The Bible vs The Watchtower … (The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Authority) You Decide …
